About the band: Cut3 Band
Tom Norris : guitar and vocals -Tom has worked for 45 years as a professional musician in California and New York. He has played in bands that opened for the likes of Elvin Bishop, Ricky Skaggs, Lacy J.Dalton, Bobby Bare and Razxy Bailey. Tom has a vast musical repertoire, he plays many styles of music that include Country, Rock , Standards and Blues.
Rudy Ybarra: Bass- Rudy has been working as a professional musician for 50 years. He first started playing music at the age of 14 and started his program music career at 24. He has enjoyed playing many genres of music throughout his career. He has played all over the country, he toured the Mid West as well as Nevada, Alaska and Hawaii . Now he shares his musical gifts by playing with a few select Sacramento area bands, Cut3 Band being one of the lucky bands that he plays with.
Dennis "Sticks"Jochim : Drums/backing vocals- Dennis has been keeping the beat for over 50 years,rocking out in clubs . He has toured throughout the country and has played every kind of music.He is currently playing with Cut3 Band, a group of fine seasoned musicians that love to keep the crowds rocking and dancing the night away.
Nikki Carli : Vocals / Percussion- Nikki has always loved singing. She first sang in public in the 2nd grade. She started singing professionally in the Los Angeles area at the age of 18.She worked as a professional singer working clubs and casinos in Southern and Northern California, Nevada and Colorado. Her musical influence include ( but are not limited-time to) Patsy Cline, Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt and Aretha Franklin. She worked as a singer from 18 to 33 . She worked for EGACT ( a local Day Program) where she encouraged the participants to share their musical gifts.Upon retirement she was invited by Tom Norris to come back to music. She has been singing with Cut3 Band and enjoying her musical life to the fullest. Nikki studied voice with : Bill Geary ( Pease Studio) Roger Voudaris ( Skips Music) and Leslie Sandefur ( Leslie Sandefur Vocal Studio).Food Truck:
