Band: New Jazz Quintet -
The New Jazz Quartet is a group of diverse musicians from around the country, state and locally doing jazz standards and classic jazz tunes. The group is made up of the following:
Ken Berger is an outstanding pianist who comes to our area from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania- Susan Burns, the vocalist, is a local California musician but spent many years working out of the San Diego area - Ron Ochoa, the percussionist, lives in Elk Grove and works for the EGUSD in developing their arts/music programs - Jay DeWald on trumpet and flugelhorn is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and spent 12 of his early years in the Boston area as a recording artist and performing musician.
