Join us for a wonderful day of wine, food and live music! Open 12:00pm-6:00pm, we'll offer wine tasting inside the cellar for $10 per person. Wines by the glass and bottle will be available for purchase and to be enjoyed outside on the patio overlooking the vineyard. Live music will begin at 2:30pm and end by 5:30pm. We encourage you to grab a bite from local food vendor, Nox BBQ. Seating on the patio is open to all and with no cover charge.
About the Band: The New Jazz Quintet is a group of diverse musicians from around the country, state and locally doing jazz standards and classic jazz tunes. The group is made up of the following:
Ken Berger is an outstanding pianist who comes to our area from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania- Susan Burns, the vocalist, is a local California musician but spent many years working out of the San Diego area - Ron Ochoa, the percussionist, lives in Elk Grove and works for the EGUSD in developing their arts/music programs - Jay DeWald on trumpet and flugelhorn is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and spent 12 of his early years in the Boston area as a recording artist and performing musician.
About the Food Vendor: Long and Rochelle is an Asian American family and veteran-owned business, both raised in San Diego but now living in Sacramento. Nox Barbecue started in 2021 as a path to incorporate their Vietnamese and Filipino heritage into traditional American style barbecue. With their background, Long is inspired to share his perspective on defining Asian American barbecue.
