The 2022 Sangiovese was sourced from two distinct vineyards in Clements Hills and the Mokelumne River AVA. This wine graces the glass with its radiant, bright red hue and inviting bouquet of fresh strawberries and black cherry. Aged 24 months in new French oak to add complexity and character, the 2020 Barbera is a beautiful expression of Old World style Barbera. The French oak plays a supporting role as the wine opens brightly with fresh strawberry and tart cherry notes. What begins silky on the mid-palate seamlessly transitions to a long-lasting finish with ample acidity.
Crafted from grapes harvested from Leland Noma's vineyard, which has been around for more than half a century, the 2020 Gold Barbera is an excellent example of New World winemaking. This barbera has undergone native fermentation and has been aged for a total of 24 months in new American oak barrels, resulting in a wine with a rich complexity of flavors.
